Michael, Thanks again for letting us stay at your Kuta Villa in September 2012. It really was cozy and comfortable. Really felt at home there. Perfect location for walking to the beach or the restaurants. All your restaurant suggestions were great. Wish had more than a week. We will tell all our friends about your place !!! Caio

Kathleen & Michael Thank you for all your help. You place was perfect for my holiday in May 2012. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The location was easy to find and quiet for being in Kuta. I felt very safe staying there alone. I would recommend your Villa to anyone tired of staying in noisy hotels. Really loved the iside decor. I'll be back for sure next time I visit Bali. Hi Michael and Kathleen. Below is my review of my stay at the bungalow from back in April. -------------- For anyone who might be looking for a clean and private and truly extraordinary place to stay while in Bali, I would recommend Michael and Kathleenâ??s Surfaris Inn bungalow very, very highly. A friend and I stayed there for two weeks in April of 2011 and were much more comfortable than we would have been at a similarly priced hotel room. The pictures on the website donâ??t really do justice to the tasteful décor and comfortable accommodations. The upstairs bedroom and balcony are where we spent virtually all of our indoor time on the trip. With a large, comfortable bed and nice linens, along with a gorgeous view out through the palm trees beyond the balcony, the second story is one of the most peaceful and relaxing places Iâ??ve ever stayed around the world for anywhere near this price range. In addition to the terrific accommodations, Michael and Kathleen are very easy to deal with, and the hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. Nearly everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, and the front desk set us up with a weekly motorbike rental (which is definitely the way to get around in Kuta) for exploring the island. All in all, and especially given the extremely reasonable weekly rental rates for the bungalow, I canâ??t imagine finding a place that I would like better for even double the price. --------------- Hope thatâ??s of use to your Comment page. I was luckly enough to stay at this lovely Villa with my girlfriend on a stop over on my way to the Mentawai's. it was a fantastic time such a lovely setting, very peaceful and quiet. All but a stone's throw any from Kuta and all it has to offer. The best of both world's price's are extremely competive and the place itself is just fantastic everything you need and more. The staff are friendly and helpfull and the pool just the best for a late afternoon dip and beer. Was a great pleasure and i will be back for sure.

I stayed at the villa for just over a week and canâ??t say enough good things about it. Good location just a short walk from Legian where the shopping and the food can cover everyoneâ??s taste. This was my first time in Bali and Iâ??m so glad I opted to stay here instead of a hotel as you see part of Bali in the surrounding streets not just the commercial side. You have the day to do site seeing and at times be part of the crowd but when youâ??re ready to just relax and take some time out this private villa is perfect. The staff was always happy to help and breakfast was cheap and delicious â?? addicted to banana pancakes now! Michael and Kathleen were also great in providing recommendations of good places to eat and reliable bike hire contacts. The Villa was clean and spacious enough for 2. At a very reasonable weekly rate you get a home away from home, or a romantic getaway close to all the south side wonders of the island. Laundry service is just round the corner, very cheap and leaves your clothes smelling amazing when you collect them 24hrs later.
